The IPL is performed in about 15 to 20 minutes, and requires no anesthesia prior. Popular treatment areas include the face and d茅collet茅. Following the procedure the treated area may be pink and minimally swollen, however downtime is minimal. Some brown spots will darken for 3 to 5 days before fading away completely. Optimal results are achieved after 2 to 3 treatments, however patients do experience noticeable results after a single session.
